1. Manager, Human Capital Business Partner Division

Location: Head Office

Reports To: HC Department Director

Employment Type: Permanent

Job Summary

The Manager, Human Capital Business Partner Division will be responsible for leading the division in aligning HR policies and procedures with the institution’s overall strategy. This role plays a pivotal part in strategic HR planning, implementation, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure HR policies align with the institution’s strategic goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner in driving HR initiatives.
  • Cascade strategic objectives to operational units.
  • Develop and monitor institutional business scorecards.
  • Guide organizational design and change management efforts.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Support line managers on HR-related matters.
  • Implement effective HR processes and performance improvement systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA/MA/BA in HRM, Management, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7/9 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a senior role, preferably in microfinance institutions or banks.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to teamwork and gender equality.
  • Computer literacy is a must.

Job Summary

The Chief Credit Officer will oversee the credit operations of the institution including loan appraisal, portfolio management, and recovery processes. The position ensures that all credit services are aligned with institutional policies and risk management frameworks.

Major Responsibilities

  • Oversee credit provision, loan recovery, and portfolio management activities.
  • Ensure thorough credit appraisal processes across branches and regional offices.
  • Monitor non-performing loans and ensure recovery actions are implemented.
  • Review and approve credit proposals and rescheduling requests.
  • Maintain an effective credit risk rating and reporting system.
  • Liaise with legal teams for loan recovery and collateral foreclosure.
  • Lead credit performance improvements and compliance with internal policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA/MA/BA in Banking & Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 10/12 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role in MFIs or Banks.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to integrity, teamwork, and gender equality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
