1. Tax Accountant
Job Summary:
ZamZam Bank is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves managing tax compliance, planning, and tax strategies for the bank. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of the country’s tax regulations, experience with tax reporting, and the ability to work across departments to optimize tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review federal, regional, and local tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including timely filing of returns.
• Act as a tax advisor on matters related to the bank’s tax compliance.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and banking industry trends for proactive tax planning.
• Support internal and external tax audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with bank teams to resolve tax-related issues.
• Provide training to staff on tax matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
• Education: BA in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in tax accounting or tax advisory roles.
• Additional Skills:
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and tax return preparation.
• Ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to non-tax professionals.
• Relevant training on taxation and related issues.

2. Senior Accounts and Reconciliation Officer
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: MA/BA in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
• Experience:
• MA holders: 3 years of banking experience.
• BA holders: 5 years of banking experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a finance officer.
