About the Job

MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices is seeking a Receptionist Cashier to join our team. Reporting to the Centre Coordinator, Centre Head, Technical Head, Centre Manager, or MCH Specialty Manager, the Receptionist Cashier will be responsible for welcoming clients, handling cash transactions, managing records, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients/visitors, provide information, and schedule appointments.

• Collect clinic income and issue official receipts.

• Ensure the security of cash and financial documents.

• Maintain and organize client records, ensuring easy retrieval.

• Handle incoming calls and maintain proper communication records.

• Manage petty cash for clinic-related expenses following financial policies.

• Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports.

Qualifications

Education:

• BA/Diploma in Accounting or Secretarial Science and Office Management.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in reception, cashier, or a related role.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in local languages and spoken English.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Knowledge of Family Planning & Reproductive Health is an advantage.

• Pro-choice mindset.

Community Engagement and SBCC Coordinator

About the Job

We are looking for a Community Engagement and SBCC Coordinator to lead strategic initiatives for social and behavior change communication (SBCC), advocacy, and community mobilization to improve sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Mobilization:

• Develop strategies to address social and gender barriers to SRH services.

• Coordinate awareness campaigns, focus group discussions, and public forums.

• Engage with community and religious leaders to foster participation.

• Develop culturally appropriate IEC/BCC materials in local languages.

Advocacy & Capacity Building:

• Train community volunteers and peer educators on SRH and family planning.

• Identify and address cultural and social barriers affecting program success.

• Advocate for community-driven solutions and empower local stakeholders.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Gather and analyze community feedback to improve engagement strategies.

• Document best practices and prepare impact reports.

Qualifications

Education:

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in community engagement, advocacy, and SBCC.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in SBCC tool development (SRH, Family Planning, Adolescent SRH).

• Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting techniques.

• Ability to work independently and travel frequently.

Reproductive, Maternal, Child Health & Nutrition (RMNCHN) Advisor

About the Job

The RMNCHN Advisor will lead initiatives to improve family planning, maternal and child health, nutrition, and emergency obstetric care (BEmONC) services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Leadership:

• Develop and implement strategies for maternal and child health, nutrition, and reproductive health.

• Ensure program alignment with national health policies.

Technical Support & Capacity Building:

• Strengthen maternal health interventions and emergency obstetric care (BEmONC).

• Train healthcare providers and community health workers.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL):

• Assess the impact of maternal health and nutrition programs.

• Use data-driven insights to enhance service delivery.

Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Advocate for increased funding and policy support.

• Build partnerships with government agencies, donors, and community organizations.

Qualifications

Education:

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nutrition, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in family planning, maternal and child health, nutrition, or emergency obstetric care (BEmONC).

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian health policies related to RMNCH.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience in research, training, and policy advocacy.

• Multilingual abilities (fluency in English and local languages preferred).
