SOS Children’s Villages in Ethiopia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Youth Empowerment Project Coordinator to lead an exciting new project titled “Innovative Training Partnership for More Youth Employment” in Adama. This initiative focuses on empowering youth through apprenticeships, internships, volunteering, and workforce development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, NGOs, and youth-focused institutions.
- Manage project teams, develop training programs, and coordinate youth engagement.
- Implement safeguarding procedures to protect youth and communities.
- Monitor financial and operational efficiency of the project.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- BA in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in youth empowerment projects.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, inclusive programming, and youth policy understanding.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Budget development and financial management knowledge.
- Understanding of gender inclusion, microbusiness, and value chain development.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
