Benefits of GHBN Summer School 2025:

The Global Health Bioethics Network Summer School offers two fully funded seats to the most competitive participants. The funding covers:

• Round-trip flight to Cape Town, South Africa

• Visa expenses for South Africa

• Meals for the duration of the program

• Accommodation for 5 nights (14th–18th September 2025)

• Travel insurance coverage

• Airport transfers and incidental expenses during the program

Eligibility Criteria for GHBN Summer School 2025:

To apply, participants must meet the following requirements:

• Early or mid-career researchers in global health bioethics

• Applicants must be from a Lower or Middle Income Country

• Applicants should be based in GHBN partner countries

• Must be able to attend the program in person (this is not an online program)

How to Apply:

To apply for the GHBN Summer School 2025, please follow these steps:

1. Complete the application form

2. Attach the required documents

3. Write a personal motivation statement explaining how this opportunity will benefit you

4. Prepare a short abstract for the presentation you will give at the Summer School

5. Confirm your commitment to writing a blog post about your experience, to be shared on the GHBN website within two weeks after the program

6. E-signatures from both the applicant and supervisor

7. Send your completed application to:
